A sweater!!
A hoodie in fact. I knit a hoodie. How cool is that??

Wow, is that *beautiful*. The pattern and the yarn go together veryvery well.

Thanks so much! I wasn't too happy with these pics but it was the first time I did 'self portraits' without any assistance :)

The yarn I used is really close to the original used in the pattern... I fell in LOVE with the tweedy cables, I want to knit everything cable-y in tweed now! :)

I was soo scared to do this! but really, if you pick something relatively simple it's just like knitting anything else... the really scary part was the seaming and thankfully I had my knitting guru kara there to help me with that part... if you were close by I'd be there to help you :)
